This week has been good for spearfishing, isolated good size yellowtails and big pargos has been captured by our spearfishing pro team around the island ; but longer days with a lot of sunlight mean that fishes are going deeper . Spring is already here and clearer water may make things a little more challanging for spearos. In these conditions professional guiding is a must and that is what we do!

19 march 2013 team effort

This huge dogthoot snapper ( lutianus novemfasciatus ) or pargo in Spanish, was captured thanks a team effort : Toto worked it out of an hole while Clif was assisting on the surface and Toño was handling the boat. Record like fishes are not easy to come by but with the right equipment and tecnique  ( and the help of our team) catches like this one are still possible .

8 to 15 march 2013 perfect week

This week Vlad and Toto were able to go out every day with very good weather conditions.

Water visibility has been low but getting to the right sopts has been possible and fishing has been great with big dog thoot snappers and yellowtails catched every day. This was the second and last week here for Vlad that willleave La Paz with some great memory and a lot of stories to tell ( and the pictures to prove it ) !

thanks to perfect sea and wind conditions Vlad and Toto were able today to visit a secret spot where exceptional catches are reserved for the brave ones. A 50 lb. category dogthoot snapper ( pargo) was the king of the day , some smaller specimens and beautiful yellowtails followed.

2 to 7 / march 2013 international team

Last week strong northern winds and big seas kept us out of the water but in the last days the conditions improved greatly and we have been able to finally take vantage of the peaking yellowtail season and the productive bottom fishing in cold , clear water.

Vlad ( from New York ) and Giuseppe ( from Italy) are two friends and clients that Toto put on the right spot at the right time; this fine captures are the result of few days of hard work and a lot of fun.
