March 29th fishing report

Hey Guys,

Well what can we say except the Yellowtail fishing is hot down here really hot. We have had boats going out the last few days to El Bajo where the fishing has been incredible. With big yellows swarming around the boat the real problem has been losing them in the rocks, lines getting tangled and some pesky Sea Lions stealing bait. All our boats that have gone out have come back with fish in the 25lbs. - 35lbs range. The weather has been really nice down here also with the daily highs in the mid 80's and the water temp. in the high 60's low 70's. The wind has also been very calm making the ride out to El Bajo very smooth. Its a great time of the year to enjoy La Paz before summer hits and starts getting into the high 90's- 100's so come out and enjoy!!

Hey Guys,

Well the fishing is still really good down here with boats getting large Yellowtail. Today John from Virginia went out and got him self two Yellowtail the largest 28lbs. and the other 14 lbs. He said he lost a couple big ones in the rocks also. He was also able to get a real nice Sailfish and ended up pretty tired after a long day. We also have been getting some big Pargo and Cabrilla and if thats not enough the weather has been great with only a few days with strong winds its starting to calm down alot and heat up!!

Fishing Report Mar. 20th 2011

The fishing is really starting to heat up down here. The Yellowtail are coming in big groups and good size. Last week we had various boats going out that caught between 5 and 15 fish. Most fish are ranging between 15-35 lbs. The yellowtail have been caught on live bait, which at the moment there is plenty. We are catching most of the fish close by Ispiritu Santo Island and el Bajo and have had a really great week of weather and seas. The next few days we are going to have highs in the 90's and cooling down by the end of the week in the low to mid 80's with water temps at the surface in the 70's and below in the mid to high 60's. Besides the Yellowtail we have also been getting Pargo's and Cabrilla in the 10-25 lb. range making for some great fishing. Come out and join us!!

Fishing report Mar. 7th

After the first week of March we have been seeing a little decline in the Yellowtail fishing. We have had boats go out one day and get 4-5 fish and the next day nothing. They are still catching Cabrilla every once in a while and Skip Jack and Pargos. We have a couple of boats going out this week and will see if the conditions improve.
