Now that the Dorado have moved in a bit closer to shore and fishing for them is going off with limits caught in just a couple of hours, what can we do next? Fish for tuna !
This week tuna came in to the same grounds as Dorado, so boats are catching a mixed bag: Dorado as well as Yellow Fin Tuna.
Here is Evie Viora showing of their catch of the day.
Dorado season is still going strong and getting better each day.
With most of the “sargaso” or seaweed patties gone , the Dorado have moved in close to shore where they can find some more bait to feed on, this makes for a closer boat ride to the fishing grounds.
The fish being caught at the moment are not large in size but they are plentyful.
Most Dorados are ranging from 15 to 30 LBS.
Here you see Mike showing off some nice Dorados caught last week.
